Covero is Jim Cole and
Richard Cohn.
Their
software analysis, architecture, and development experience is broad and
deep, encompassing:

Richard Cohn

Richard joined Covero in 1999 after spending eleven
years at Adobe Systems, most recently as a Senior Computer Scientist
in Adobe’s Advanced Technology Group. He designed the Adobe Acrobat
Portable Document Format and was the architect of the initial versions of Adobe
Acrobat. He is a co-author of the Scalable Vector Graphics language, an
emerging W3C standard for describing two-dimensional graphics in
XML. He was a key contributor to Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PageMill,
and other Adobe products. Richard obtained his Ph.D. in Computer
Science from Carnegie Mellon University. |

Jim Cole has been a
full-time consultant since 1996. Prior to consulting, he was a key
member and leader of teams that shipped many robust, commercial products,
including several major versions of Adobe Acrobat, and
several state-of-the-art laptop computers for Grid Systems. His technical
experience is both broad and deep, encompassing Internet, multimedia,
shrink-wrap applications, and system software. He also has a great deal of
business and economic analysis experience, including a Master's degree in
Economics that focused on the economics of the Internet. He also holds a
B.S. in Computer Science, Phi Beta Kappa, from Indiana
University. |
